High-purity dead burned magnesia is mainly used for steel-making, electric furnace bottom and ramming furnace lining its chemical formula is MgO. The product is sintered magnesia produced by chemical extraction of high purity magnesium hydroxide from brine. It has features of high purity, high density, fine high-temperature performance. It is a high quality raw material for brick making and amorphous refractories, and also the raw material for lining refractories of high temperature furnaces in iron and steel, nonferrous metallurgy, refractories, glass and cement industries.
